The Observatory of Black Communities in Quebec and The Foundation of Greater Montréal are launching a call for proposals from visual artists to contribute to the cover illustration of a scientific publication on philanthropy in Black communities, to be published as an open-access digital publication.
We are not looking to commission a new artwork, but to select an existing piece to illustrate the cover. We are looking for existing artworks (illustration, painting, digital collage, or other original visual works) that reflect the generosity of Black communities. A selection committee will review submissions and choose one artwork to feature on the cover.
