Through this initiative, The Summit is preventing and reducing cyberhate against Quebec youth, particularly youth from Black communities. To this end, a new network has been created, composed of ten trained interveners and four champions from member organizations.
This new network of stakeholders from both official language communities will offer workshops on combating hate on the Internet, will be on the lookout for warning signs and will recognize reprehensible cases, will intervene with the victims and the authorities concerned and will become a reference for the prevention of acts of cyberhate for their respective organizations.
