Bureau de la Communauté Haïtienne de Montréal (BCHM)

Established in Montreal since 2001, Mrs. Ruth Pierre-Paul has been the Director of the Bureau de la communauté haïtienne de Montréal (BCHM) since January 2010. A seasoned manager, she has extensive experience in the socio-community development sector and the management of non-profit organizations. Some of her achievements within the BCHM are now recognized as significant innovations, such as the social programs “Respect sans frontière,” “Papa impliqué, enfant équilibré,” and “Option protection.” Mrs. Pierre-Paul is a seasoned administrator and a highly socially engaged citizen. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Coopérative de Solidarité santé de Montréal and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Socio-Economic Summit for the Development of Youth in Black Communities (SdesJ).

Before assuming the leadership of the BCHM, she worked at the Quebec Institute of Financial Planning and at Centraide du Grand Montréal.

Madame Pierre-Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Human Resources and Communication), a Graduate Diploma in Social Administration from the University of Montreal, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from the École Nationale d’Administration Publique (ENAP), affiliated with the University of Quebec.
