Zoé Luthi

Research and Extension Officer

Observatory of Black Communities in Quebec

Zoé Luthi has been a research officer at the Observatory of Black Communities in Quebec since December 2022. Before this, she worked as a journalist in Switzerland, where she also created explanatory capsules for a museum. Her academic background includes a multidisciplinary bachelor’s degree in History, Culture, and Society from the University of Quebec in Montreal, obtained in 2016, and a master’s in Anthropology and Immigration from the University of Neuchâtel, completed in 2021. These studies have enabled her to develop a deep understanding of various social issues and to refine her skills in social science research methods. She is particularly interested in the foundations of the production of scientific knowledge in the West.

Highly curious, she pursues multiple interests and is also active in multicultural associations. She facilitates workshops on various topics and contributes behind the scenes to publications and artistic productions. She hopes to contribute to the development of a fairer society through these efforts.
