Sheba Akpokli (elle) is co-coordinator of the LGBTQIA2+ inclusive municipalities project at the Conseil Québécois LGBT.
She is a community organizer, with many years of experiences on LGBTQIA2+ rights issues here and elsewhere. She is interested in community development, as well as the production of experiential knowledge based on people’s life experiences.
An important part of her work is based on the production of resources, support for LGBTQ+ communities and the promotion of collective intelligence through concerted action, which she sees as an essential key component for social development. Her work also includes advocacy and the creation and strengthening of bridges between political policies and community actions.
