Djemson Estimé obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a specialization in program evaluation from the École Nationale d’Administration Publique. Currently a research and evaluation officer with the Observatoire des communautés noires du Québec, his fields of interest are community-based research and evaluation. He accompanies the member organizations of the Sommet Jeunes Afro and develops a formative evaluation approach aimed at improving their interventions.
An agro-economist with a degree from the Université d’État d’Haïti, Djemson was a research assistant at the Université Quisqueya before serving the Haitian Ministry of Agriculture. He has also contributed to several research projects, including a chapter in the book “Innovations agricoles et agroalimentaires en Haïti”. He is also interested in teaching, and gives many software training courses.
