Goal

The purpose of this survey is to collect data on the philanthropic actions of individuals from Black communities. We are interested in perceptions of philanthropy in these communities. In addition, we seek to identify the forms of donations, motivations, targeted sectors and the channels used to make them. All individuals aged 15 and over who identify as Black and who reside in Quebec are invited to participate in this survey.

Eligibility to participate

This survey was conducted by the Black Communities Observatory of Quebec of the Afro Youth Summit, in collaboration with the Foundation of Greater Montreal. In gratitude, the Summit is offering eligible participants who complete this questionnaire the opportunity to win one of fourteen prizes worth $250 each or one of two $500 prizes to be donated to the non-profit or charitable organization of their choice.
