MISSION: Initiated by an innovative network dedicated to the economic and social development of Quebec, the Young Afro Summit focuses its efforts on empowering young people from black communities. As part of this mission, the Computer Operator position aims to provide essential technical support to beneficiary organizations and families, thus contributing to their access to technology and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to technical calls from beneficiary organizations and families
  • Daily follow-up on family support
  • Organize computer preparation before delivery to families
  • Manage inventory and install required programs on computers
  • Perform other related tasks.

DESIRED PROFILE

  • Be between 15 and 30 years old (inclusive) at the start of employment
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person granted refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act [S.C. 2001, c. 27]
  • Legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial and territorial laws and regulations
  • Relevant experience is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, WordPress is an asset
  • Interpersonal skills are an asset
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written) is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Organizational and planning skills
